Congratulations Ms. Marissa D. Bell and Mr. Christian K. Trigg!!!

Marissa and Christian have completed a “rigorous and competitive evaluation process” resulting in invitations to participate in the University of California’s inaugural Summer Institute for Emerging Managers and Leaders (SIEML).  The pair was selected from a pool of 200 applications submitted from freshman and sophomore HBCU students from around the country.  They will represent Tuskegee University’s Brimmer College of Business and Information Science during a two week program running May 20, 2012 – June 2, 2012 at the University of California Berkeley.

The Summer Institute (SIEML) is an all expenses paid fellowship operating two consecutive summers on a selected University of California campus.  According to the program developers, “This fellowship offers students from HBCUs an unrivalled opportunity to launch their future in business management.”   The fellowship “will enable participating students to learn from world-class University of California faculty, gain access to valuable opportunities for internships and graduate school, and meet one-on-one with influential business leaders.

The faculty and staff of the Andrew F. Brimmer College of Business and Information Science wish you both safe travels and a productive summer!!
