Graphic artist recognized for excellent service


TUSKEGEE, Ala. (November 19, 2013) – Linda Cade-Hassan, the graphic artist for the College of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health, has been chosen to receive this month’s Employee Excellent Customer Service Award sponsored by TU Staff Senate. Cade-Hassan, who has been with the university 25 years, treats her clients with respect, but she also makes certain that the work she does represents Tuskegee University at its best. Dr. Brooke A. Burks, Class of 2000, called Cade-Hassan a “Determinator.” 

Regardless of how information is brought to her, she goes out of her way to make sure the university is represented in the best light. She is often bombarded with emergencies such as certificates for programs, logos, pamphlets, booklets, and posters for presentations. Because she knows the work has to be done, Cade-Hassan has worked late to ensure that clients have what they need. 

“It has to be done, so I’m going to stay here and do it,” Cade-Hassan said.
