Maxwell Air Force Base visitors tour campus, learn about ROTC program


TUSKEGEE, Ala. (February 19, 2014) – A delegation from the Maxwell Air Force Base International Officer School in Montgomery, Ala., visited Tuskegee Wednesday. The visitors toured campus and also got a briefing on Tuskegee Airmen heritage and the university’s Air Force ROTC program. The group also toured Gen. Daniel “Chappie” James Museum and spoke with Air Force ROTC cadets about their experiences. 

“The objective is to prepare cadets in AFROTC for service and leadership in the military,” said Lt. Col. Dex McCain, commander of Air Force ROTC.
