Student awarded $2,500 scholarship from Sodexo employee group

TUSKEGEE, Ala. (March 17, 2011) — Jesica Holley, a student at Tuskegee University, has been awarded a $2,500 scholarship from the African American Leadership Forum (AALF). AALF is a Sodexo Employee Network Group created to inspire and develop leaders. AALF awards annual scholarships to deserving students pursuing academic and leadership excellence at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Holley, president-elect of the Tuskegee University Student Government Association (2011-2012), competed against more than 150 students from more than 30 Sodexo partner accounts to win this scholarship. Recipients must be academic and community leaders. They must also be enrolled full time at an HBCU and demonstrate academic success with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Sodexo, which manages facility services at Tuskegee, uses this opportunity to give back to the communities it serves.
