University receives beautification award from city committee

TUSKEGEE, Ala. (May 2, 2011) — The Tuskegee Clean City Committee on April 30 awarded Tuskegee University a beautification award for its campus. According to the committee, the award recognizes the university’s “diligence and sincere desire to improve the appearance of this community.”

 

Established in December 2009, the city committee works with local individuals, organizations and businesses to promote the beautification of Tuskegee.
