About the Department of Athletics
TUSKEGEE UNIVERSITY varsity athletic teams compete in the 13-team Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). The conference includes Tuskegee, Albany State, Benedict, Claflin, Clark Atlanta, Fort Valley State, Kentucky State, Lane, LeMoyne-Owen, Miles, Morehouse, Paine and Stillman.

Hannah named to SBN All-America team; Slater and Hannah to receive awards
Tuskegee's all-conference defensive back and SIAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Justin Hannah, was recently selected as a member of the 2009 Sheridan Broadcasting Network Black College All-America team. The 5-foot-10 senior defensive back will be honored along with other players, Feb. 12-13, at the 35th Annual SBN Sports Black College All-American Awards at the Doubletree Resort in Orlando, Fla.
