About the Department of Athletics
TUSKEGEE UNIVERSITY varsity athletic teams compete in the 13-team Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). The conference includes Tuskegee, Albany State, Benedict, Claflin, Clark Atlanta, Fort Valley State, Kentucky State, Lane, LeMoyne-Owen, Miles, Morehouse, Paine and Stillman.

Two T.U. student-athletes qualify to compete in regional cross country meet
As a result of this past weekend's SIAC Cross Country championship, two Tuskegee University student-athletes qualified to participate in the NCAA Division II regional cross country meet hosted by the University of Tampa on Saturday, November 7. The meet will be held at Sydney Dover Trails in Dover, Florida at 8:00 a.m. The two TU student-athletes who will be participating are James Holley and Vermond Walker

Tuskegee 40, Lane 6: Golden Tigers slay Dragons
The Golden Tigers, coming off an emotional come-from-behind victory against Albany State the week before, avoided a letdown Saturday when they played SIAC doormat Lane College in Jackson, Tenn. The Golden Tigers, 7-2 overall and 7-1 in the SIAC, steamrolled the winless Dragons 40-6 as they had their highest point total of the season and continued their march toward a fourth consecutive SIAC championship.

The Golden Tigers showed their championship mettle Saturday in their SIAC showdown with Albany State. With 1:53 left in the game, the three-time defending conference champions rallied for a touchdown and defeated Albany State 21-19 to take over first place in the SIAC.
