NEED:

Mrs. Juanita Young, Secretary at HGHG Adult Day Care Center, Mr. Jacob Waddy, vegetable and goat farmer in Union town and Thelma Madison had a need for better understanding and practical know how on Credit and Financial Management.

HOW RBEDP HELPED:

Technical assistance training from the RBEDP was offered to these clients that wanted to learn how to better utilize and manage their money to improve their personal finances, as well as, business operation. 

RESULTS:

Mrs. Young indicated that she learned a lot from the credit couseling and now understands the importance of reviewing her credit report.  Mr. Waddy said this training will help him with his recordkeeping on the farm and staying on top of his credit.  Through the assistance of Bobby England, Ms. Madison was able to buy her first home at the age of 70 years old.  This training helped her create a budget to be better prepared of keeping track of her monthly expenses and income for a smooth transition into her new home.
