University faculty will use SAT/ACT scores and high school Grade Point Averages (GPAs) to place students in appropriate freshman level courses.  Analysis of SAT/ACT scores and high school grade point averages over the past five years shows that students who enter Tuskegee University with a SAT composite score of 1000+ or an ACT score of 24 and a high school GPA of at least 3.0 tend to be more successful in completing their freshman level courses than those who score lower.

However, all applicants are evaluated individually.  This is done so that other factors can be considered as criteria for the admissions process.  Tuskegee University is flexible and comprehensive in evaluations to ensure students are admitted who can take full advantage of the Tuskegee experience while enriching the overall campus community.
