CReATE
CReATE stands for Chemistry and Research for the Advancement of Tuskegee-Educated scientists and engineers. This is a summer program primarily for rising sophomore science and engineering majors. In this program, students take the second parts to General Chemistry and its lab along with a course on Introduction to Research. The students spend about eight hours each week on research, two hours of instruction and six hours with a mentor in the laboratory. In addition, Friday afternoon seminars and field trips provide extra enrichment. Successful students in the CReATE program are awarded scholarships based upon merit and need.
