CReATE students are given Math Lab assignments designed to strengthen the more marical fundamentals necessary to study science. In order to provide the resources for complex problem-solving, a Math Lab has been created in Engineering 226. Staffed by Mr. Tommy Johnson, M.S. in mathematics, the lab contains an overhead video projector and 24 workstations. The symbolic math program Maple is installed on each workstation. The lab is available from 8-5 p.m. each day, and may be reserved in advance for use by classes.
