Undergraduate Summer Research Opportunities
Most undergraduate research opportunities provide you with travel, room and board, and a stipend of approximately $2500 or more for a 10-week program. You are expected to show up (punctually!) for every meeting and social event, and you are also expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Research is about the work, not the hours!
To apply, expect to fill out an application (typed is better!), write a personal statement (typed is expected!), provide an official transcript, and obtain three letters of recommendation. Questions? Email us or come by the office for help with applications and suggestions on your personal statement. Completing everything before deadlines is essential.
