General Information: The Robert R. Taylor School of Architecture and Construction Science is located within Tuskegee University, which is among the oldest and more significant Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the country. Incorporating the Tuskegee Institute National Historic Site, the Tuskegee Airfield, and the National Park Service, the campus is home to many significant works of architecture. The School invites energetic, creative candidates to apply for three positions in its Architecture and Construction Science Departments. Successful candidates will be interested in working in a holistic, cross-disciplinary program integrating community outreach, historic preservation, sustainable design and design-build approaches. In addition to teaching and research, successful candidates are required to serve on committees, present a clear research agenda, and fully participate in the academic life of the school. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications.

 In this full-time tenure-track position, the successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to teach a design studio and support lecture courses that concentrate on architectural history and theory. Faculty member is also expected to possess professional design experience and demonstrate a proven track record of scholarly research. Preferred qualifications include: Architectural License, architectural practice experience, and project development and funding experience.
