Uwca will Fund Grants of $45,000 in 12 Alabama Communities
United Way of Central Alabama, Inc. (UWCA) has been awarded American Recovery and Reinvestment Act ("ARRA") funding from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Office of Community Service,

$45 Million Available For Rural Microentrepreneurs Assistance
Last week, the Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced the availability of $45.1 million in funding for the Rural Microentrepreneurs Assistance Program (RMAP). Applications are accepted on an on-going basis with awards quarterly. The first deadline is July 16 for awards by the end of September.
