Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR)

The Office of Undergraduate Research, currently located in Carver Research Foundation's Electronic Classroom, was developed to support student research efforts, both on and off campus.

The mission statement is:

The Tuskegee University Office of Undergraduate Research will facilitate on-campus and off-campus research experiences for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) majors, will encourage development of research experience and exposure in the STEM curricula, and will encourage STEM majors to pursue graduate degrees in STEM fields.  The office will work with and for the STEM departments on campus to coordinate these activities.

The office, established October 2004,  is funded for five years by Tuskegee University's National Science Foundation HBCU-UP grant.

The current Director is Ms. Sharee Small, (334)727-8295, smalls@tuskegee.edu
