Advising & Information
Each chemical engineering student is assigned an advisor. Students are encouraged to meet with his/her advisor before pre-registration and whenever he/she needs information on departmental/college/University acadmic policies.
Computing Facilities
The Chemical Engineering Computer Laboratory is located in Room 530 Foster Hall. The facility is available for chemical engineering student use round the clock. Software packages available - Matlab, Mathcad, Microsoft Office, Aspen Plus, Process Control packages, etc.
In addition to the Chemical Engineering Computer Laboratory, there are several computer facilities throughout the campus that chemical engineering students can use. A list of these computer laboratories is as follows:
• Math Lab, located on the second floor of Engineering building with 24 computers.
• Bioethics Lab, located on the first floor of Bioethics building with 20 computers.
• John Deer Lab, located on the second floor of Engineering building with 4 computers
All these facilities are open to students 7 days a week.
