All courses counting towards the major must be passed with a grade of “C” or higher.
# All majors must take at least two semesters of quantitative sciences (one of which must be Calculus and the other must be Bio-Statistics).
* Students can either take unrelated courses in subfields of biology for their required twelve credits of biology electives or pursue a concentration in molecular genetics, neurobiology, ecology, or microbiology. A concentration will require nine credits in one of the aforementioned subfields. Undergraduate research (BIOL 400) may be used for up to three credits of the Biology/Biology concentration elective requirement.
Advanced placement biology credits are not accepted for substitution of any biology course requirement for the Biology major.
