Curry Wins Faculty Achievement Award for Service

Dr. Michael Curry was recently honored by the College of Arts and Sciences with the Tuskegee University Faculty Acheivement Award for Service.  Curry was recongized for his work with the NSF funded Math and Science Partnership (MSP) and his work with the Bay Springs High School Alumni where he has created collaborative efforts amoung the Alumni to establish the Jasper County Students Striving for Academic Resilience and Success (JC-STARS) program.  Through his work with MSP, Curry along with his co-authors Dr. Melissa Reeves and Dr. Alicia Curry, has published four peer-reviewed modules that are being used in counties all across Alabama.  Dr. Curry received his B.S. from degree from The University of West Alabama and his Ph.D. from The University of Alabama.
