Porsha Thomas, Senior

Porsha Thomas is a senior with a dual major in Chemistry and Psychology from Mantachie, MS.  Porsha has been on the honor roll numerous times, she has received a Benjamin F. Payton scholarship and she currently serves as President of Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society and Secretary of Psi Chi Honor Society.  She has also served as SGA Chief of Staff and as a Laser student orientation leader.  Porsha participated in University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine’s Summer Premedical Academic Enrichment Program where she took medical courses and had the experience of a first year medical student.  Porsha is doing undergraduate research in the area of biofuels and plans to own her own medical practice focusing on women’s health.
