Interdisciplinary Research Awarded with Herb Society of America Grant


Dr. Willard Collier has been awarded a grant from the Herb Society of America as co-Principal. Investigator with Dr. Chastity Bradford (Department of Biology) for their proposal “"Investigating Angiotensin 1-7 Enhancement by Hibiscus sabdariffa as a Novel Therapeutic Strategy for the Treatment of Pulmonary Hypertension (PH)". The Grosse Point Unit of the Herb Society of America commented that they are “excited to see the results of the research” and that the proposal was “very well written and well presented”. The Chemistry Department congratulates these two for their accomplishments.
