SAACS group receives recognition from the American Chemical Society

The Tuskegee University Student Affiliates of American Chemical Society (TU-SAACS) were recognized by the American Chemical Society (ACS) with the Certificate of Achievement for their activities during the 2012-2013 academic year.  Each year SAACS organizations design and implement activities throughout the fall and spring semesters that promote and stimulate interests in science within the K-12 school system and surrounding communities.  The TU 2012-2013 academic year was filled with fun activities that promoted science both on the campus and within the community through outreach and presentation of science activities at K-12 schools and science conferences.
