Biographical Sketch

Professor Carter received her doctoral degree in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma. She is currently PI on two community based research programs, U54 Cancer Research Partnership Community Outreach Component and The Medicaid Meaningful Use Program (HDIRE). Professor Carter also serves as the Deputy Director for Community Engagement for the Health Disparities Institute for Research and Education (HDIRE).
