Veterinary Diagnostic Services

Introduction

The Veterinary Diagnostic Services are the backbone of clinical medicine and surgery.  The support of these laboratories is critical to accurate clinical diagnoses, therapy, and patient prognosis. These laboratories not only support the Department of Clinical Sciences but also, provide diagnostic support to funded research projects and regional veterinarians.  The majority of laboratories composing this division is housed in Williams-Bowie Hall.

Vision

The long term goal of these laboratories is to be an accredited center of excellence in diagnostic veterinary medicine, generate revenue, and provide service and research support to the College of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health in particular and the University community in general.
