TUSKEGEE UNIVERSITY varsity athletic teams compete in the 12-team Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) which includes Tuskegee University, Albany State University, Benedict College, Clark Atlanta University, Fort Valley State University, Kentucky State University, Lane College, LeMoyne-Owen College, Miles College, Morehouse College, Paine College and Stillman College.

Tuskegee announces 2008 football schedule
Tuskegee University Football, coming off an undefeated season in 2007 (12-0) and a national black college championship, on Friday released its 2008 football schedule. The 11-game regular season includes five home games, three "classics" and three other road contests. Tuskegee women's tennis team earns National Team Sportsmanship Award
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association has named Tuskegee's women's tennis team as recipients of the ITA National Team Sportsmanship Award for the month of April. Dr. Benjamin F. New University Athletic Director appointed
Tuskegee University President Benjamin F. Payton announced the appointment of Stacy L. Danley II as the new Athletic Director at the institution. In this position, Danley will report and be responsible to the President for the effective and efficient operations of the total athletic program and will work closely with the Vice President for University Advancement in funds development for the Athletic Department.
