Important Commencement Day Information
Seating
Tickets will be needed for seating in the “Chappie” James Center. Each Graduate will be issued five (5) tickets during Commencement rehearsal to distribute to family members and friends. Doors to the James Center will open at 7:30 a.m. and will be closed before the procession begins. Please arrive early.
Sections for the Disabled
The "Chappie" James Center is wheelchair accessible for disabled individuals. There are clearly labeled spaces in each section for those individuals. You must arrive before the doors are closed.
Parking
Regular Parking
Parking is available in all non-reserved spaces on campus. Uniformed campus police officers will be available for assistance or consult the campus map for general parking areas.
Disabled Parking
Designated parking for the disabled will be in the Foster Hall (Engineering building) parking lot, across the street from the "Chappie" James Center.
Media Parking
Media may park in the parking lot adjacent to the "Chappie" James Center (across from the airplane). Parking passes may be picked up with credentials.
Shuttle Service
On-campus shuttle service from designated parking lots for guest pickup will be available beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Commencement Day.
Satellite Locations
Other locations on campus will be equipped for audiences to watch the ceremony in real-time on large screens. Seating is open and limited.
