The University has a program with The Prudential Insurance Company of America to provide group life insurance. Participation in this program is a condition of employment for all full-time employees. This policy is basic term life. Group insurance ceases upon termination, but may be converted to an individual life insurance policy without medical examination, by applying to The Prudential Insurance Company of America within 30 days after employment termination.
