In addition, you must take either the ACT or SAT and attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) or High Hispanic Enrollment (HHE) that has an NROTC unit to be eligible for this program. These scholarships are nationally competitive and applicants are encouraged to go beyond the minimum requirements in addition to participating in extra-curricular and civic activities, especially those that involve a leadership role (team captain, organization or class president, etc.) A list of Naval ROTC HBCU/HHEs can be found on the main NROTC website here: https://www.nrotc.navy.mil/MSI.aspx
You should apply from January 1 until April 30 via the NROTC Unit of the school you wish to attend. The Tuskegee University NROTC recruiting officer's number is (334) 724-4203 or (334) 724-4994.
