       RESEARCH

       

       

       Mission/Purpose

       

      • to promote scholarship among faculty and students and enhance Tuskegee University’s capability and funding for research and other sponsored programs that benefit mankind

      • Increase the number of proposals submitted and the annual funds received for support of research  and other sponsored programs by 10%, each year, ( key priority #5).
      • Maintain 100% compliance with state and federal regulations in conducting research and other sponsored programs, (key priorities #2 and #5).
      • Increase the number of patent applications submitted to the United States Patent Office to five (5), each year, (key priority #2)
       Outcomes

       

      • Number of proposals submitted to funding agencies, (key priority #5).
      • Amount of funding received from federal agencies, (key priority #5).
      • Amount of funding received from industry and private foundations, (key priority #5).
      • Number of Publications produced, (key priority #2).

    GRADUATE STUDIES

    • to prepare of the next generation of scholars with skills needed for expanding scientific knowledge and facilitate work globally in their chosen fields

    • Increase the number of graduate students enrolled at TU by 10%, each year (4)
    • Enhance the quality of Masters theses and Ph.D. Dissertations (2)

    • Number of graduate courses developed based on research findings, (key priority #2).
