Coca-Cola donates $50,000 for scholarships


TUSKEGEE, Ala. (August 14, 2013) — Tuskegee University President Gilbert L. Rochon accepted a $50,000 donation from Coca-Cola today after a meeting with company representatives at Kresge Center. The beverage company and the university have been involved in a partnership for 10 years. During the meeting, the representatives gave a yearly review of their engagement on campus, objectives and future plans.

The donation is part of their Next Generation Scholarship Program.
