Rochon meets with NASA center director to discuss research opportunities


GREENBELT, Md. (APRIL 6) — Tuskegee University President Gilbert L. Rochon on April 4 met with Rob Strain, director of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, to discuss further research partnership opportunities between the center and the university.


Tuskegee has had a relationship with NASA for several years. Previous research includes sweet potatoes in bioregenerative life support systems, hydroponic production of salad crops, waste recycling on missions, and pursuing commercialization on earth of products already developed for space.
