Campus Technology Offers Students Google Email and Collaboration Solutions

January 4, 2010  - Campus Technology announced  plans to deploy Google Apps Education Edition™ - Google's set of hosted and customizable communications solutions as part of the university's core IT service offerings. As a result, students will have access to tools including email, shared calendars, instant messaging and word processing, all at their address.

"Google Apps will help us communicate with our students, faculty and administration more easily and efficiently than ever before, while relieving our Campus Technology team of the traditional costs associated with email and collaboration solutions" said Al Bryan, CIO. " "We're glad to let Google do what it does best -- provide us with great technology, so we can do what we do best -- serve our students."
