Lincoln Center 2012 Fundraising Giveaway!

The Tuskegee Choir will perform at Lincoln Center, home of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, on March 4, 2012. Preparations are well under way for this historic event. We have launched a $200,000.00 campaign to support this and other choir tour events. Please consider sending a generous donation today.

You may contribute through the University Web site by clicking in the Special Events box and scrolling down to the Tuskegee Choir event. Many of you have been submitting great fundraising suggestions, and I appreciate each one of them. We will implement what we can here in Tuskegee when the Choir returns in a few weeks. Please keep the suggestions coming; this is most definitely a group effort!

There is a challenge on the table: please consider a pledge to raise $1,000.00 amongst friends and family in support of this effort. Facebook friends are included! The person who raises the most money (must be at least $5,000.00 to be considered) wins A FREE TRIP FOR TWO TO NEW YORK WITH THE CHOIR. You will participate in the "behind-the-scenes" preparation for the Lincoln Center concert, including rehearsals, tickets to the performance and tickets to the post-concert cruise. Have your friends and family indicate on the form that they are donating on your behalf, and you will be credited for having raised those funds.
