Chapter Committees
Our chapter is composed of different committees, which helps us achieve our mission. These Committees are:
Community Service: Keeps in touch with all community organizations, surrounding and campus community, and enlists their support in programs to insure the rights of minority group citizens.
Education: Seeks to stimulate school attendance and aims to educate students on the importance of classroom attendance.
Health Committee: Works to promote, protect, and maintain the health of African Americans and sponsor health related activities
Membership: Works throughout the year to maintain and increase the membership of the association
Political Action: Inform the public of political issues in the United States.
Press and Publicity: Promotes the organizations events, projects, and meetings via posters, newsletters, etc.
Events: Helps plan and coordinate many of the wonderful events that we have.
Elections: Oversees elections of officers and committee positions.
Finance and Fundraising: Plans the fundraising events that the organizations hosts.
