NOMINATION INFORMATION
Honor your parents with this beautiful gesture. Send us your nomination for the Parent of the Year Award and receive accolades along with our heartfelt thanks for helping us choose the most deserving candidate for this coveted award. If you are an alumnus of Tuskegee University, a student, faculty or staff member or a friend of parents of this University - we would love to receive your nomination.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Nominees may be a parent (biological or adopted), grandparent or legal guardian of a currently enrolled student or graduate of Tuskegee University.
Nominees should have provided significant financial or other resources to at least one student in support of educational needs while pursuing college study at Tuskegee University.
Nominees should be actively involved in community services and/or community development-related projects that work for the improvement in the quality of human life.

HOW TO NOMINATE?
A. Letter of nomination to Selection Committee;
B. Biographical data on the nominee(s);
C. At least two letters of recommendation in support of the nomination
D. Documented evidence of nominees’ achievement(s) in the area of community service.

DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS
Nominations must be postmarked or hand-delivered on or before September 10, 2012. The Parent of the Year Award will be presented in a formal ceremony to be held during the 2012 Parents' Weekend, October 12-14, 2012.
