Kayla Yvette Foy is a senior Accounting Major from Birmingham, AL. During her tenure at Tuskegee University, Trustee Foy has maintained a  3.71 GPA and plans to graduate Summa Cum Laude in Spring 2019. Trustee Foy inaugurated the first Tuskegee Alumni Mentoring Program which gave 160 students access to prominent Tuskegee University Alumni in their respective fields. 

Foy served as the 2017-2018 Student Government Association Treasurer where she managed over $100,000 of funds. Foy is a member of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), Pi Sigma Epsilon Business Fraternity, and Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society. She is a third year peer mentor for the Andrew F. Brimmer College of Business and Information Sciences and assists with the Next Step Up Prom Drive. Foy is also a 2016 Distinguished Freshman Achievement Scholar, Ella Stubbs Jones Accountant Award Recipient, and NABA & KPMG Scholarship recipient.

After graduation, Kayla Foy has aspirations of joining the field of Accounting.  While at Tuskegee, she interns in the Chief Financial Office under Dr. Sharron Burnett. She has interned with Verizon Communications, a Fortune 15 Company, for 2 years where she served as a Financial Leadership Development Intern.

In her free time she manages her business, Hair by Kayla, where she serves her campus community in hair care. Foy enjoys cooking and learning new recipes when she's not participating in school events.  After receiving her Bachelors of Science in Accounting, she plans to further her education and pursue her Master's Degree in Accounting as well to later sit for the CPA exam.
