Information for Newly Admitted Students

CONGRATULATIONS on your acceptance into the historic and prestigious Tuskegee University. Being admitted to one of the top-ranked HBCUs in the country and becoming a member of the Tuskegee Scholars is a great accomplishment. The checklist below shows the needed steps to complete your admission and enrollment at Tuskegee University.

As a reminder, to begin the acceptance process, pay your enrollment fee of $400 by the deadline stated in your acceptance letter. For students offered merit-based scholarships directly from the admissions office, we urge you to pay the enrollment fee by the deadline shown on your award letter. Please note, May 1st is the priority deadline. Meeting this priority deadline date allows us to prepare your first-semester class schedule and reserve a place in one of the residence halls.

Checklist and Forms

  • Pay your enrollment fee of $400 - instructions will be emailed to all admitted students.
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Tuskegee University's Federal School Code is 001050. EARLY APPLICATION IS URGED. The ‘priority’ deadline to complete the FAFSA is March 31st of each academic year.

  • Check the TU TigerWeb Access Information. TigerWeb is the online student portal that you will use throughout your tenure as a TU student. Your first semester schedule of courses will be posted in TigerWeb in June by your academic department head once your payment and course selections are received.
