As a member of the president’s cabinet and senior leadership team, the duties of the General Counsel include focused responsibilities and authority for developing and leading matters relating to the university’s legal and external affairs.

In her capacity on behalf of the Office of the General Counsel and External Affairs, Hoffman provides executive-level administrative support to the office, organizes and maintains legal documentation, tracks legal activities, and monitors the university’s contract review process. She has more than 15 years of higher education experience in senior executive support roles in both academic and administrative settings. In addition to her office duties, she serves as a member of the Tuskegee University Staff Senate.
