As a member of the president’s cabinet and senior leadership team, Faison’s duties include focused responsibilities and authority for developing and leading matters relating to the university’s legal and external affairs. His career experience includes serving as a practicing attorney, legal advisor and state prosecutor in both the private and public sectors. As a higher education administrator, Faison has held directorships in alumni affairs at Albany State University, and in external affairs and leadership gifts at Edward Waters College. He previously served as university chief of staff and executive assistant to the president at Mississippi Valley State University, and was later named interim vice president of university advancement and executive director of the MVSU Foundation Inc. Prior to Tuskegee, he also served as vice president for enrollment management and student affairs at Virginia Union University. As a university teacher-educator, he has held professorial appointments at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and in academic disciplines that include political science, criminal justice and business administration.

In her capacity on behalf of the Office of the General Counsel and External Affairs, Hoffman provides executive-level administrative support to the office, organizes and maintains legal documentation, tracks legal activities, and monitors the university’s contract review process. She has more than 15 years of higher education experience in senior executive support roles in both academic and administrative settings. In addition to her office duties, she serves as a member of the Tuskegee University Staff Senate.
