In it's commitment to providing safety and security to the campus community, the Tuskegee University Police Department (TUPD) will provide night escort service to any student or University employee (who is alone, on foot) who does not feel safe in reaching their on-campus destination at night.
This service is only available for Tuskegee University students or employees and is only from one campus destination to another ----not off-campus. (Students should take advantage of the University Shuttle Service for transport to local stores or businesses).
This escort service is not available on a continuous, long-term basis, but is available until a better means of personal safety for the individual has been established. Students should travel in groups of two or more when at all possible after dark.
Our Officers patrol campus grounds and University-owned housing units daily and respond to requests for service 24 hours a day.
Remember to be aware of your surroundings and report any suspicious persons immediately to the Tuskegee University Police Department at 727-8757 or 727-8756.
