Thanks for joining The Black Harvest Series hosted by the Carver Integrative Sustainability Center (CISC) and sponsored by Southern SARE and Tuskegee University College of Agriculture, Environment and Nutrition Sciences. We are so grateful to have been facilitated by the Tuskegee Public Dialogue Team and to have been joined by visual artist Kevin King who provided deep listening reflected in art.
We would greatly appreciate it if you would share your experience and feedback with us via a brief survey. Please click here for the post-webinar survey. There is also space in the survey to enter your contact details as we consider ways we might convene around supporting Black farmers in the South.
Please see attached for an artistic sketch done by Kevin King live as he used deep listening to reflect and transform the stories shared in the call into artwork. If you would like to thank and/or support Kevin in his work please see his PayPal and Venmo information below to send him your support and patronage.
Be on the lookout as our last installment of the Black Harvest Series will be held via Zoom on November 18th at 11AM Central / 12pm Eastern. The purpose of this call is to hold a forum for Black farmers, ranchers, forest landowners and/or fisherfolk to gather and share their challenges, needs, and points of collaboration. We are seeking your support to help us engage Black producer communities as we aim to document and disseminate ongoing efforts to support Black producers in the South.
Thank you for your participation and efforts in the work that you do.
