Graduates of Tuskegee University or of other accredited institutions having substantially the same requirements for the bachelor's degree are eligible to seek admission to a program of graduate study. Application materials, may be obtained by writing to the Admissions Office, Tuskegee University, Tuskegee, Alabama 36088. ALL APPLICATION MATERIALS AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS, EXCEPT RECOMMENDATIONS, MUST BE RETURNED DIRECTLY TO THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE. The Admissions Office will coordinate the processing of the application materials with the appropriate graduate department. Admission Application deadline are Fall Semester March 1, Spring Semester October 30, Summer Semester April 30. Requests for graduate fellowships and/or assistantships with recommendations should be submitted to the department in which the student wishes to specialize.
At the applicant's request, two official transcripts must be sent to the Admissions Office directly from the registrar or each postsecondary institution attended, excluding Tuskegee University.
All applicants must submit to ADRAS separately two letters of recommendation and a one page personal statement.
Prospective students who file an application during the final year of academic work toward a baccalaureate or professional degree will be considered for admission and may be admitted or accepted provisionally pending subsequent filing of satisfactory transcripts showing final course work and degree awarded. In order to register for classes in subsequent semesters or summer sessions, the applicant must clear the provisional admission in the Admissions Office at least 30 days prior to the next beginning date of classes.
