Office of Research and Advanced Studies at Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine (TUCVM) promotes and supports a diverse and collaborative learning environment, which values quality education and research.
We offer the following advanced degrees: Master of Science in Veterinary Science (non-thesis) and ( thesis options), Master of Public Health (MPH), PhD in Interdisciplinary Pathobiology, and PhD in Integrative Biosciences (joint program with the College of Agricultural, Environmental and Nutritional Sciences). A limited number of scholarships (tuition & stipend) are available to deserving students. Veterinary students have the option to pursue dual degree programs such as DVM/MPH, DVM/MS, and DVM/PhD. Graduate faculty members in the TUCVM have research expertise in the following areas: infectious diseases, cancer, obesity, regulation of food intake, food safety, computational epidemiology, environmental toxicology, pharmacology, immunology, embryology, renal disease, etc.
