It's never too early to start making plans for Tuskegee University's Annual Parents' Weekend, which will be held October 4-6, 2019. Spend an unforgettable weekend with your Tuskegee Family and enjoy activities that will begin on Friday afternoon, October 4, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. Central Time (CT) and culminate with the University Chapel Services and Brunch on October 6, 2019. Please note that the full itinerary will be provided at check-in.

The registration fee covers the cost of Parent's Weekend publications, postage, online and onsite registration services, registration materials, facility rentals, staff and service fees, and access to all activities, Dinner on Friday, entertainment Friday and Saturday evening, Brunch with the President (limited Seating).

What is Parent’s Weekend?
Family Weekend is an informative, engaging and important yearly tradition! Over the course of the weekend, Tuskegee University welcomes parents and families to visit campus and interact with the organizations, people and places that have become important to your student. This year, we look forward to a variety of recreation, social and cultural events, academic programming presentations, and student performances.
How do I register for Parents Weekend?
Registration Family Weekend 2019 opened in September. You may register on-site or online in advance of the weekend. All monetary transactions will be done online. You will be asked for contact information and information pertaining to your Tuskegee University student(s). You will be sent an email confirmation when your registration is complete.
Why should I attend Family Weekend?
In addition to the opportunity to experience programs, discussions, performances and more from members of the Tuskegee University community, attending Parents’ Weekend provides the chance to spend quality time with your student. Parent’s Weekend provides the opportunity for your student to share some of their campus experiences with you.
What time should I plan to arrive/depart?
Family Weekend events are scheduled Friday evening through Sunday morning. Onsite registration and check-in will be available in the Tompkins Hall on the second floor from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Friday and 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. You will also be able to pick up a schedule, maps, and information during this time. You may depart campus at any time you wish, but please note the President’s Bunch is slated for October 6, 2019 following University Chapel Services.
How can I get Internet access while on campus for the weekend?
Free Wi-Fi is provided to guests during Family Weekend. Directions to access the TU-GUEST Wi-Fi will be provided with Parents’ Weekend registration confirmation.
What should I wear?
Casual attire with the exception of the Golden Tigers Cabaret. Golden Tiger Cabaret attire is fashionable crimson and gold (strongly strongly suggested but not required).
How much will it cost to eat in the dining hall?
