Dr. Mark A. Brown, President and CEO, met with members of the men’s basketball team, along with Head Coach Benjy Taylor, Vice President and Athletic Director Reginald Ruffin, and Dr. Thierno Thiam, Senior Vice President and Provost, today to reiterate his support for Coach Taylor. Dr. Brown congratulated the student-athletes for their sportsmanlike conduct during and after Saturday’s events. Each of the leaders acknowledged the emotions stemming from what happened while encouraging the players to channel their energy into what matters most, achieving excellence in the classroom and on the court. Players pledged their commitment to doing just that, beginning with “We love you, Coach,” in unison.
