Earning an aviation degree from Tuskegee University offers students a rigorous, industry-aligned pathway to professional pilot careers grounded in rich historical legacy, strong aviation partnerships, and structured FAA-approved training. Tuskegee University is an FAA-certificated Part 141 Pilot School, authorized to provide approved training courses for the Instrument Rating and Commercial Pilot Certificate in partnership with LIFT Academy. In addition, Private Pilot and Multi-Engine training is conducted under FAA Part 61 in partnership with LIFT Academy, providing students with individualized, high-quality foundational flight instruction.
The national pilot shortage continues to drive strong demand for well-trained commercial and airline transport pilots. Through our Aviation Science curriculum and FAA-approved flight training, students' progress through the academic, technical, and practical requirements needed to succeed in today’s aviation industry. The program prepares students to earn essential FAA certifications and ratings while positioning them for high-demand career opportunities in commercial aviation, airline operations, and military aviation pathways.
