Certifications and Internships

Tuskegee offers over 30 Certifications in various academic degree programs across all eight of its colleges and schools. Our student success model requires our students to be workforce ready before they graduate. Through Certifications and Internships, we prepare students to begin great careers!

Ranked the #4 HBCU

Tuskegee is ranked the #4 HBCU in the Nation. The 2025 U.S. News & World Report rankings show it remains the top school for Social Mobility in the South and the No. 1 HBCU in Alabama. We educate and train the Hand, Head, and Heart.

New Licensed and Certified Pilots

Tuskegee is answering the call for qualified pilots to fill the commercial and private pilot shortage. Through our Aviation Science Program, we are producing the next generation of aviators who following in the footsteps of the Tuskegee Airmen.

High Research (R2) Status

We have expanded our graduate and doctoral programs, increased our research efforts, and amplified our voice with national media in out bid to move to High Research (R2) Status, which brings a new chapter of global relevance and scholarly impact.
