Online Reporting

Report your accommodation using Maxient.

The Office of Access and Ability utilizes a third-party software called Maxient. It is a secure, web-based application that manages communication from our office, including meeting requests and follow-ups involving accommodation issues.

Students receiving an email from Maxient will see a link to the correspondence sent from Tuskegee University.

Maxient also allows Tuskegee University to send text messages to students if their cell phone number is on file. This means that our office can send individual texts to students with a link to the communication sent via Maxient.

If you receive an email or text from Maxient, this is a legitimate email from the university.

Call in a Report

If you encounter an accessibility issue, please call the Office of Access and Ability at 334-421-9158 or email the director at kholmes@tuskegee.edu. The Office of Access and Ability will inform the appropriate university unit of your notification. Please be prepared to provide relevant information such as:

A Message from Our Director - Kimber Holmes

Welcome to the Office of Access & Ability Services at Tuskegee University. My name is Kimber Holmes, and it is my honor to serve as Director. Our office is dedicated to supporting students of all abilities by ensuring equal access to every aspect of the Tuskegee experience academically, socially, and physically.

My goal is to create a space where students feel seen, heard, and empowered. Whether you need accommodations, guidance, or simply someone to talk to, know that you are always welcome here. We are committed to working collaboratively with students, faculty, and campus partners to remove barriers and promote an inclusive environment where every student can thrive.
