Bernard E. Anderson, a nationally respected economist, is the Whitney M. Young, Jr. Professor Emeritus, the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA., and Senior Fellow, Center for Human Resources. In 1993 he was appointed by President William Jefferson Clinton as Assistant Secretary of Labor for Employment Standards Administration, with responsibility for the Wage and Hour Division, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, the Office of Workers Compensation and the Office of Labor Management Cooperation. 

He was the second African American ever appointed to the Wharton School faculty, following his professor and mentor, the late Dr. Andrew F. Brimmer. He helped merge the Urban Affairs Partnership and the Philadelphia Urban Coalition to create the Urban Affairs Coalition. Deeply engaged in higher education, he was Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Lincoln University (PA), and has served as Vice Chairman, of the Tuskegee University Board of Trustees.

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Livingstone College and his Master of Arts degree from Michigan State University.  He then attended The University of Pennsylvania where he earned his Ph.D.

Henry W. Davis, III brings more than three decades of experience in healthcare policy, fiscal planning, and human resource management to the Tuskegee University Board of Trustees. He is a tireless advocate and has a palpable love and devotion toward Mother Tuskegee. He received the Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science (1981) and the Master of Personnel Administration (1983) from Tuskegee Institute. During his tenure as an undergraduate student, he was elected Vice President of the Student Government Association. His mentor President Luther H. Foster, appointed him Student Representative to the Board of Trustees Presidential Search Committee, resulting in the selection of Dr. Benjamin F. Payton, the fifth president of the University.

He is a member of the Montgomery-Tuskegee Alumni Association, and has numerous volunteer hours with the Tuskegee University Adopt-A-Dorm Program, and is an avid supporter of Tuskegee University athletic programs. Educating parents, potential students, and the broader community about Tuskegee University’s distinct value to the educational enterprise continues to be his priority. He is known for being a fierce recruiter of students to Tuskegee University, including family. Mr. Davis was the first of eight siblings to attend Tuskegee University and his parents, Ed and the late Bertha Lee Green Davis were the honored recipients of the Tuskegee Institute Parents of the Year Award.

His distinguished career spans more than 31 years of service to the citizens of Alabama. He is the Director of Governmental Affairs for the State of Alabama Medicaid Agency, providing direct support for state and federal legislative and regulatory activities. His career path has included roles within the State of Alabama Medicaid Agency as the Director of Human Resources, Legislative Liaison, Executive Assistant to the Commissioner, and Chief of Staff. As Chief of Staff, he had direct responsibility for overseeing a Medicaid budget over 5.3 billion dollars and was responsible for executive level duties of the Office of Commissioner. Mr. Davis has also served on numerous committees and task forces; State Personnel Council; State Executive Council; Governor’s Task Force to Strengthen Alabama Families; Governor’s Task Force on Infant Mortality; the Preventive Health Committee, and the Handicapped Children’s Early Education Program. Mr. Davis is also a Fellow of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.

For 34 years, Mr. Davis has been married to Dr. Angela T. Davis, (c/o ‘85) Professor of Occupational Therapy at Alabama State University. They are the proud parents of three children: Elizabeth Davis Watters, an Alabama State University magna cum laude graduate; Henry Wesley Davis, a Tuskegee University summa cum laude and Wake Forest University Doctor of Medicine graduate; and Brian Michael Davis, a University of Alabama graduate and a life-time Fellow of the Blackburn Institute.

Mr. Davis is an active member of his church community at St. Jude Catholic Church, where he serves as a lector and is a founding member of the married couples’ ministry. For more than 15 years, he coached baseball and served on the Board of the Montgomery Southern Baseball League. He also coached YMCA basketball. As a Life member of the Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc., Mr. Davis serves on the Southern Province Membership Training Academy Committee, is a Certified Graduate Advisor, an advocate for the National Guide Right Program, and humbly serves the fraternity as Polemarch, Montgomery Alumni Chapter.

The Honorable John H. England, Jr. was born in Uniontown, Alabama and attended public schools in Birmingham, Alabama.

He graduated from Tuskegee Institute with a B.S. degree in Chemistry in 1969 and graduated from the University of Alabama Law School in 1974.  He received an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Tuskegee University in October 1999.  Judge England served 2 years in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman.  He began practicing law in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 1974 and was elected to the Tuscaloosa City Council in 1985, where he served two terms and was Chairman of the Finance and Community Development Committee.  He was appointed by Governor Jim Folsom to the Tuscaloosa County Circuit Court in June 1993 and was elected to a full term in November 1994, where he served until he was appointed by Governor Don Siegelman to the Alabama Supreme Court in September 1999.  Judge England served on the Alabama Supreme Court from September 1999 until January 2001.  He returned to the Circuit Court of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama in January 2001 and was re-elected to the Circuit Court in November 2002, November 2008, and November 2014. He retired from the Circuit Court Bench in January 2021.

Judge England served on the Board of Trustees for the University of Alabama Systems from 1998 until 2021. He is a graduate of the 1996 Leadership Alabama Class.  He has also held leadership positions in numerous civic, professional, and social organizations on the local and state level, including Temporary Emergency Services, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Jaycees, Tuscaloosa Exchange Club, Tuscaloosa Civitan Club and the Tuscaloosa Tennis Club.  He currently serves or has served in the past on the Board of Directors of the following organizations:  Boys and Girls Clubs, Barnes Branch YMCA, Community Services Program of West Alabama, Theatre Tuscaloosa, Salvation Army, Boy Scouts, Black Warrior Council, Girl Scouts, 21st Century Youth Leadership, the Good Samaritan Health Clinic, Easter Seals West Alabama, Alabama Civil Justice Foundation, West Alabama Aids Outreach, Elizabeth Project Care, Indian Rivers Mental Health Board, A Plus, Blackbelt Community Foundation , West Alabama Community Foundation , United Way of West Alabama and UAB Health System Board.  His professional memberships include Alabama Circuit Judges Association (past president 2013-2014), Tuscaloosa County Bar Association, Alabama State Bar, Alabama Lawyers Association (past state president 1988-89), and Alabama Lawyers Association Judicial Council (Past chair until 2016). He has received numerous awards for his professional and community service including the Tuscaloosa Civic Hall of Fame (2003), Sara J. Harper Humanitarian Award (2017), The Alahedo Louis Dale Diversity Leadership Award (2017) and Sam W. Pipes Distinguished Alumnus Award (2018) Pillar of West Alabama (2004) , Alabama Academy of Honors (2021) and the naming of John H.England Jr. Hall on the campus of the University of Alabama (2019).

He is a member of Bailey Tabernacle C.M.E. Church, where he serves as a Trustee Emeritus and member of the male chorus.  He is the father of 3 children, John, III., a U.S. Magistrate Judge in Birmingham, Alabama, April England-Albright, an attorney chief of staff for Black Voters Matter in Atlanta, Georgia and Christopher, an Assistant City Attorney in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and member of the Alabama House of Representatives and the grandfather of seven children, Ty, Jay, Jelani, Autumn, Kennedi, Alexandria and Christopher Jr.

Joe Grasso is a partner in Wiggin and Dana's Litigation Department and Co-Chair of its Insurance Practice Group. Joe is also a member of the Firm's Art and Museum Law Practice Group. He is located in the firm's Philadelphia and New York offices. His work includes analysis of coverage, defense and monitoring of claims involving various types of insurance and reinsurance coverages, including aviation, marine (including hull, liability, cargo, yacht), fine art and specie, energy, general liability, professional liability and political risks. 

Prior to joining Wiggin and Dana in 2008, Joe was a partner at Thacher Proffitt & Wood in New York. From October 2005 to April 2006, Joe worked in the General Counsel's office of one of the premier syndicates at Lloyd's of London. In addition to representing underwriters, Joe also represents multinational manufacturers, financial advisers, art dealers, ship owners and other parties in a wide variety of commercial disputes. He has tried cases in several jurisdictions including New York, Puerto Rico, Iowa and New Jersey. He has conducted numerous arbitration proceedings and mediations. He has also acted as an arbitrator and a mediator. Joe is admitted to practice in New York and Pennsylvania and a number of Federal Courts including the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second and Fifth Circuits. 

He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Association, and the Associations of Average Adjusters of the United States and Canada and of the United Kingdom. He is a Proctor member of the U.S. Maritime Law Association and was elected as a Director in 2015 (he is also the immediate past Chair of the Committee on Marine Insurance and General Average). Joe serves as the Chair of the International Working Group on Marine Insurance of the Comite Maritime International and he is a member of the International Union of Marine Insurance Salvage Forum. Joe has addressed numerous insurance industry gatherings on a variety of topics, including coverage issues and policy interpretation, investigation and resolution of claims and state and federal legislation and regulation. These presentations have been made through the International Union of Marine Insurance, the American Institute of Marine Underwriters, the Inland Marine Underwriters Association, the Association of Average Adjusters of the U.S., the American Marine Insurance Forum, the International Marine Claims Conference (Dublin), the International Underwriting Association, A.M. Best, Xchanging Claims Service, the American Conference Institute, and the Admiralty Law Institute of Tulane University. 

He is a co-editor of the ABA's The Handbook on Additional Insureds and has authored articles in The Tulane Law Review, the University of San Francisco Maritime Law Journal, West's Insurance Litigation Reporter, Aspatore's Inside the Minds- Insurance Dispute Resolution Proceedings and in Aspatore's Thought Leaderships Insurance Law, and he has been recognized in Best's Directory of Recommended Insurance Attorneys, Who's Who Legal, and The Legal 500. Joe sits as outside general counsel to the American Institute of Marine Underwriters and the Inland Marine Underwriters Association and has been involved in legislative and regulatory monitoring, governance issues, drafting policy forms and filing amicus briefs on behalf of those organizations. 

Joe received his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and his BA, cum laude, from Yale University. In addition to being active in alumni affairs at Yale, Joe has served on the Board of Trustees of Tuskegee University since 1995. Joe is also a member of the firm's Diversity Committee.

Erick W. Harris is the Vice President for Legal Services & General Counsel for United Petroleum Transports, Inc. He also serves as a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

Before entering private practice, Erick was an Assistant Attorney General for the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office. He is licensed to practice law in all Oklahoma and Texas courts as well as the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Erick is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation of Oklahoma.

Erick is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Oklahoma Journal of Law and Technology. He received a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma as well. Erick received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tuskegee University where he served as Student Body President.

Natalie has over 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors in the agriculture, finance, water, and wastewater industries. She currently serves as a Partner with Impact Public Affairs in Atlanta, Georgia.

Her experience across these industries as they intersected with governments at the local, state, and federal levels has positioned her well for her role as Metro Atlanta Client Service Leader and Government Relations Director for Barge Design Solutions Atlanta Office.

Before joining Barge Design Solutions in September 2019, Natalie spent 12 years with the City of Atlanta in the Department of Watershed Management, the Mayor’s Office, and the Department of Finance. In addition, with six years of experience in corporate Government Relations with DuPont and CH2M/Jacobs Engineering as Southeast Government Relations Director, Natalie is uniquely prepared to be the Director of State and Local Government Relations at Impact Public Affairs.

Natalie earned a Master of Public Administration from Iowa State University in 2005 and a Bachelor of Science in Plant and Soil Science from Tuskegee University in 2001. She is also a certified Project Management Professional and has obtained certifications in Balanced Scorecard Strategy Planning and Lean Six Sigma.

Natalie is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Marietta Roswell Alumnae Chapter. She also serves as an executive committee member for the Women in Construction, Engineering and Related Services.

As a transformative leader, Captain Minter is directly responsible for strategically developing critical partnerships between industry, educational institutions, and the community to maximize the exposure of youth interested in pursuing aerospace careers. He also consults with industry and educators on Next Generation Technologies, training, mentoring, and human capital development. Captain Karl Minter retired from United Airlines as a B-777 Captain with over 22,000 hours of flight experience with both civilian and military aircraft.

Originally from St. Albans, Queens, NY, he has been involved in aviation for the last 46 years. Before becoming a U.S. Air Force Pilot, he worked as a Flight Test Engineer for Sikorsky Aircraft Company in Stratford, CT. He is a Combat Decorated Command Pilot. He has flown missions to Grenada, Panama, Desert-Shield, and Desert-Storm while providing safe and efficient worldwide transport for the Department of Defense, White House Staff, and national leaders. Lt Col Minter retired from the U.S. Air Force after 26 years of military service; he holds numerous medals, citations, and certificates. In addition, to being a retired Captain for United Airlines, he is an Aviation Subject Matter Expert (SME) with Aircraft Accident Investigation credentials and was an Airline Pilots Association (ALPA) Representative on the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) – Operations Specification Working Group (OSWG) and the Avionics Harmonization Working Group (ASHWG).

Capt. Minter is an Engaged Thought Leader and a Member of the Board of Trustees, Tuskegee University. He is also a National Board Member for INROADS Inc. and a Board Member for the Friends of Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site (FTANHS). Capt. Minter is a former Chairman of the Board (BoD) and Board of Advisors (BOA) for the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (OBAP).

Capt Minter’s goal is to “collaboratively create opportunities for our youth to become the Next Generation of Aerospace Professionals.” Capt. Minter mentors both students and professionals pursuing aerospace careers.

Capt. Minter is a Doctoral Candidate (PhD.) in Organizational Leadership at Northcentral University, School of Business. He has an MBA (Honors Graduate) from Regis University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Embry-Riddle University. Capt. Mr. Nixon is Head of Strategic Investments for Cerberus. In his role, he focuses on investment opportunities with the potential to drive technological, security, and defense advancements across sectors and geographies.

For over a decade, Mr. Nixon has partnered with Cerberus and its affiliates across a diverse array of projects and investments. He has been a Managing Director with Cerberus’ industry-leading operations team, Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company, and has served on the Board of Directors for several Cerberus portfolio companies, including most recently Navistar Defense, where he is Chairman, and Sparton Corporation.

Prior to rejoining Cerberus in 2021, Mr. Nixon served in a variety of senior executive roles leading significant global strategic and operational initiatives. His experience includes leadership roles at DynCorp International (a Cerberus portfolio company), CH2M Incorporated, McKinsey and Company, and Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. He also served as an executive advisor to Tracker Capital Management, a venture capital investor founded by Cerberus Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer Steve Feinberg that invests in high-potential technology growth companies.

Prior to his career in the private sector, Mr. Nixon served in senior positions in the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Government Accountability Office. His technology experience includes being a licensed patent attorney, serving as Special Intellectual Property counsel for the Defense Department, and being a commercial litigator at the international law firm of Howrey and Simon.

Mr. Nixon has a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Tuskegee University. He is also a retired Air Force Judge Advocate General (JAG) Officer (Lt. Colonel).

He is a recent adjunct professor of law at Howard University Law School and formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund as well as the National Inventors Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the Economic Club of Washington and the Executive Leadership Council.

John Page is Senior Corporate Vice President, Chief Corporate Social Responsibility and Legal Officer of Golden State Foods Corp. (GSF). John has over 25 years of practicing as an attorney, both as outside and in-house counsel, and has litigated and tried numerous cases, including successfully arguing before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. John is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. Joining GSF in 2004, John is responsible for all legal, governance and compliance matters for the company. Additionally, John provides executive leadership for GSF’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, which include environmental initiatives, diversity efforts, and community involvement.

John has actively engaged in diversity efforts throughout his career, demonstrating his on-going commitment to achieving equal opportunity and fair treatment for all workers. Currently serving on GSF’s Diversity Council, John works to ensure that workplace accountability practices are in place, equipping the company with the tools needed to sustain a safe, diverse and inclusive environment. An advocate and practitioner of enhancing business development and legal training for minority attorneys, John has provided business opportunities to capable attorneys of color and non-minority attorneys who have committed to staff matters with a diverse slate of minority and non-minority professionals. For his commitment, John received the ACC-SoCal Profiles IN Diversity Award, and the ACC Matthew J. Whitehead, II Diversity Award, the Association of Corporate Counsel’s highest honor for diversity in the profession.

In addition to spearheading various diversity efforts, John successfully leads all corporate social responsibility initiatives for GSF, connecting the company’s CSR activities to a larger strategic vision through programs that engage employees, protect the environment and better the lives of people. Embracing responsibility to future generations, John ensures that sustainable practices are at the heart of GSF’s business, including efforts to reduce carbon emissions, minimize energy and water consumption, and limit waste production. John has also been a strong supporter of the GSF Foundation, a non-profit organization established by the company to improve the lives of children and families in need, including serving as a member of its board of directors.

John has been honored for his leadership a number of times and served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Tuskegee University from 2015 to 2019. He has also served as 2014/2015 Chairman of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Board of Directors, and as President of the National Bar Association. The Orange County Business Journal named him their inaugural General Counsel of the Year; and in 2010, John received the National Bar Association’s highest award, the C. Francis Stradford Award, for his service to the NBA and to the legal profession. In 2011, the African American Managing Partner Network honored John with the Corporate Counsel Pathfinder Award. 

He is a member of the ACC SoCal Chapter, and served as a board member for the New Jersey ACC Chapter, the NBA Board of Governors, the California Association of Black Lawyers, the Education Law Center in Newark, New Jersey, the New Jersey Commission on the Discrimination in State Government Contracting, and the New Jersey Attorney General’s Task Force on Use of Deadly Force. He also served two terms as President of the Garden State Bar Association and served three years on the New Jersey District X Ethics Committee.

Finally, John is a mentor to law students and is deeply committed to our youth, being involved in organizing “Journey To Attorney” which aims to invite, inform and inspire today’s youth to consider positive choices for the future including one that leads to a career in law.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, John is a 1987 cum laude graduate of Pace University, receiving a B.A. in Political Science and minor in History. While attending Pace, he was selected to serve as a member of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society. John received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1990, where he was an editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review.

H. Jerome Russell is President of H. J. Russell & Company and Russell New Urban Development, LLC where his focus is on the firm’s strategic direction and new business development. Over his career, he has experience with beverage distribution, consumer marketing, banking, construction, and real estate for over 25 years which has led him to his current role as the lead Owner over the $250M real estate portfolio and Chairman of the newly formed Herman J. Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurship.

After earning his B.S. in Business Administration and Management from Georgia State in 1985, Jerome headed to Chicago, where he worked for City and Suburban Distributors as Assistant to the General Manager. In 1986, Jerome returned to Atlanta where he managed City Beverage, a $15 million beverage distribution company. There he managed a beverage distribution/logistics company and oversaw the   entire local consumer marketing for the various national brands. In 1990, along with his responsibilities as President of City Beverage Company, he began to integrate himself into real estate development by serving as a Project Manager for Gibraltar Land, Inc., a H.J. Russell-owned development firm, where he oversaw multi-million dollar urban residential and retail developments. In 1995, he was named President and COO of H.J. Russell focusing on the firm’s strategic direction and new business development. He started Russell New Urban Development, LLC in 2003 to provide high quality in-town developments that stimulate economic growth and excite people about urban living. In 2016, Jerome became the inaugural Chairman of the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurship (RICE). RICE is an economic mobility engine to accelerate Black entrepreneurship.

Like his father, Herman J. Russell, Jerome has an entrepreneurial flair, he participates in various business and civic pursuits. In 1997, he was named to the Board of Citizens Trust Bank. As an active board member, he was part of two (2) successful mergers taken on by Citizens Trust Bank. In 2005, he was named Chairman of the Loan Committee at Citizens Trust Bank. He also serves on the board of H. J. Russell & Company, Concessions International, Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurship (RICE), Chairman of the West End CID, Metro Atlanta YMCA, Georgia Historical Society, Tuskegee University and Central Atlanta Progress. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Atlanta Rotary, Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Tiger 21, and Board of Councilors of The Carter Center.

Tamika Tremaglio is the Former Executive Director of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), a position she has held since January 2022. Previously, she served as the East Regional Leader for Deloitte Risk and Financial Advisory and serves as the Deloitte Office Managing Principal for the Greater Washington. Tamika’s litigation and business consulting experience, which spans over 20 years, includes leading forensic accounting matters such as breach of contract, franchise disputes, lost profits, business interruption, intellectual property disputes, global corporate investigations and regulatory compliance matters, including claims relating to fraudulent conveyances and insolvency. Her prior work experience includes National Leader with Huron Consulting Group, Greater Washington Market Leader and Managing Director, and Director of KPMG LLP, and Tax Specialist.

Chereece Warner is an Engineering Supervisor at ExxonMobil. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tuskegee University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. In 2018, she completed her Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.

She joined ExxonMobil in Houston, Texas as a Facilities Engineer for several offshore production platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. Over the last 15 years, Chereece matriculated through the company's Operations-Technical and Joint Venture technical teams.   She currently resides in Bengaluru, India where she leads a team of new and experienced engineers to support ExxonMobil’s Surface Operations globally.  

For the last 12 years, she has proudly served on the Board of Trustees for her alma mater.

Pebblin Warren was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in a special election for House District 82 on March 8, 2005 she currently serves on the Ways & Means General Fund, Rules, Health and Lee County Legislation. Education has always been an important aspect of Pebblin’s life. She graduated from Tuskegee University in 1974 with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration and she also holds a M.Ed. degree in Personnel Administration from Tuskegee University along with a certificate of Business from the University of Notre Dame Graduate Division. 

After a long distinguished career, Pebblin retired from ADIT in November 2015. Representative Warrens has received many honors from countless organizations such as: Outstanding Volunteer Service Award, Aid to Inmate Mothers, John H. Buchanan, Jr. Distinguished Service Award, Judge and Banquet Speaker, 1998 Buffalo Rock, James C. Lee Student of the Year Scholarship Program, Outstanding Service Award, Alabama College System Deans of Student Affairs Association, Montgomery Advertiser Community Volunteer Profile, Macon County Cancer Relay for Life, Habitat for Humanity, and Tutwiler Prison Volunteer. 

Along with these many honors Pebblin finds time to serve her community through her membership at Westminster Presbyterian Church as an Elder, in her role as Macon County Chapter Vice President for the Democratic Party 82nd District, as a dedicated member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Tuskegee Alumnae Chapter (Immediate Past President). Supporting her husband, Sheriff David M. Warren as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Alabama Sheriffs Association and a number of other community organizations and activities. She currently serves on the Tuskegee University Board of Trustees.

Mr. Whiteman is a Founder and Managing Partner of Stellex Capital Management. Prior to establishing Stellex, Mr. Whiteman was a Partner at The Carlyle Group and a Managing Director and Co-Head of Carlyle Strategic Partners. Prior to joining Carlyle in May 1996, Mr. Whiteman was a Vice President and Group Head in the Leveraged Finance Department of Credit Lyonnais. Mr. Whiteman has also held several positions at both Citicorp and The Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A.

Mr. Whiteman currently serves as a director on the board of Titan Acquisition Holdings L.P. and Cisco Investment Holding LLC. In the past, Mr. Whiteman served as the Chairman of the boards of MHI Holdings LLC and Morbark Holdings LLC and on the board of Diversified Machine, Inc., RPK Capital Partners, LLC, Metaldyne, LLC, Stellex Aerostructures, Inc., Brintons Carpet Limited, DPG Aerospace and Service King, as well as the investment committee of RLJ Equity Partners, an affiliate of The Carlyle Group and Robert L. Johnson. Previously, Mr. Whiteman has served on the boards of numerous Carlyle portfolio companies such as US Marine Repair, Norfolk Drydock and Shipping Company, Key Plastics, Breed Technologies and The Aerostructures Corporation. Mr. Whiteman has also been a member of the Executive Committee of the National Symphony Orchestra of The John F. Kennedy Center and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African Art.

Felker W. Ward, Jr., is a principal in the Investment Advisory Firm of Pinnacle Investment Advisors, LLC. After graduating from Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University), he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, and served 20 years on active duty. He spent most of his career as a pilot, Logistics Officer, and Public Affairs Officer. He flew numerous helicopter combat missions in Vietnam, and was awarded the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Bronze Star for his war service. He retired from the Army in 1974, with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. 

Upon retiring from the Army, Felker embarked on his second career, as a lawyer. He practiced law for 15 years, engaged principally in business and finance practice. In 1988, he launched a new venture -providing investment advisory services to institutional investors, including pension funds, endowments and the like. Since his retirement from the Army, he has achieved many honors and awards, including the Emory Medal--the highest achievement award given by the Emory University Alumni Association. 

He earned a bachelor’s degree from Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University) School of Commercial Industries in 1953 and a juris doctorate from Emory University School of Law. He also received an honorary doctorate of law from Tuskegee University. He has been inducted in the Georgia State University Business Hall of Fame.

Ward is a trustee emeritus of Emory University and serves on the Board of Trustees for Tuskegee University. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Gas and Light Company, Georgia Research Alliance, and Georgia Cancer Coalition. He is a member of 100 Black Men of Atlanta and recently completed his one-year term as president of the Rotary Club of Atlanta. Mr. Ward also serves as civilian aide emeritus to the Secretary of the Army, with equivalent rank as three-star general.
