Research Extension Assistant Professor

My research has been focusing on (i) policy impact and treatment impact analysis in agribusiness, international trade, and finance, (ii) causal inference using econometrics and big data analytics, and (iii) experimental design for agriculture. I have conducted research projects on food policy analysis, health economics, international trade, microfinance, and water management. My recent research interests include machine learning for agriculture, experimental design and statistics, food economics, agricultural policy impacts on consumer behavior and market, and food, health, and financial security for historically disadvantaged groups.
