The Golden Tigers defeated top-seeded Clark Atlanta 61-57 Saturday night in the finals of the 77^th SIAC basketball tournament at Forbes Arena on the Morehouse College campus in Atlanta, earning a berth in the NCAA Division II Tournament.  The Golden Tigers will compete in the South Regional, which will be held in Russellville, Ark., March 13, 14 and 16.

Music historian and recording artist Calvin Earl will present Tuskegee University's 15^th annual Ralph Ellison Lecture.  Titled "The History of the Spirituals," the lecture is at 3 p.m. on March 17 in the Kellogg Conference Center auditorium.
